What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy is a client-centered allied health profession that addresses all the things we need, and want to do in our daily lives.

Occupational Therapists work with people of all ages, from newborns through to aged care with a focus on enabling individuals, families and communities to participate in activities they find meaningful. Occupational therapists assist people to maximise their functional independence, safety & quality of life through assessment, therapy, equipment prescription, and environmental modifications.
